We Are The Music Makers | Volume One

Our first release on WATMM Records, WE ARE THE MUSIC MAKERS | VOLUME ONE is a collection of seventeen tracks made by artists who frequent our online music-making community. Each track is unique in it's own regard, from production techniques, to style and composition.

This compilation was formed by selecting the very best tracks from hundreds of submissions (the tracks were voted on anonymously, without the voters having knowledge of who's track was whos), and once whittled down to the 17 excellent and diverse tracks, the disc was arranged and mastered. Finally, after almost two and a half years of hard work, determination, and effort, it's finally available for purchase. This is an actual factory-pressed CD, with professionally printed artwork. We wouldn't have it any other way.

Originally, to fund the pressing of the compilation, a preorder service was opened and the first 100 preorders will also get an exclusive 3" bonus CD containing five tracks hand-picked by Joyrex (WATMM Records and WATMM.com owner and webmaster), and only one artist appears on the compilation as well as the bonus CD - the enigmatic Cell with his tracks, the beat-driven madness of Tarantula Brush, and the eerie ambient beats of Tell. This bonus disc will not be reproduced, and is no longer available for order.

The compilation is limited to 1000 copies, and supplies are dwindling fast - support WATMM Records, the artists involved, and ensure that We Are The Music Makers | Volume Two comes out as well as a possible limited vinyl edition of Volume One.
